Context

In 2021, I was contacted by the brand N.K.I Sushi for a mission deep in the Panamanian jungle to meet the Embera tribe.

They are an indigenous tribe that lives without the modern comforts we are used to. They fish, hunt, and harvest to survive.

The meeting led to the creation of a sushi box using ingredients from Embera cuisine.
